in her writing Prof. Nasmi Herlina Sari, ST, MT wrote that in facing the era of society 5.0 students are not enough just to understand or be given a theory. This is not enough to prepare the younger generation to face society 5.0 but there are several things that must be prepared, among others:
- in the context of learning, students must be accustomed to thinking critically, constructively, and innovatively. This is called higher order thinking skills (HOTS).
- Lecturers serving as facilitators must have the enthusiasm to continue to learn and improve their abilities so that later they can determine the direction.
